Installation:

• Use timber for sub frame joists with minimum size of 32 x 57mm
• Install decking on sub frame joists with max 450 space between joist centers.
• The maximum distance of the head side joints to the center of the sub frame joist is 100mm
• Keep at least 5mm expansion space between decking
• Secure good ventilation of the decking by keeping 10mm space at walls
• Apply wax or oil on the end sides and cross cut board ends to avoid water penetration

Maintenace:

• Remove loose dirt or dust
• Sand any splinters or rough patches
• Hammer or screw any protruding nails
• Dampen decking with clean water
• Pour detergent onto surface and wait for approx. 5 minutes
• Proceed to scrub deck with a hard-bristle brush
• Rinse cleansed surface with pressure sprayer

Re-coating:

• Surface must be clean and dry
• Implement in shade to prevent from streaking
• Apply thin coat of decking oil with short-haired roller
• Coat along the full length of about 5 boards or small area of the decking 
• Seal sides of each board 
• Wipe away excess using lint-free cloth
• Continue with 5 boards at a time until completed
• Dry naturally

Long Term Maintenance:

• R-coating is recommended every half year
• High-humidity or increased direct sunlight may require additional care 
• check for dry spots, oil when necessary
